Kingston
on Soar was represented by a Parish Meeting from 1977 to 2000, and Mr
Norman
Beeby was Chairman of the Parish throughout that time. On 27 July
2000,
a Parish Council consisting of seven councillors was elected; elections
are
now held regularly at the same time as Borough Council elections.
