Kingston on
Soar
Village Hall, located on Kegworth Road adjacent to the village car
park, was constructed in 1935. It forms one
of the focal points of the Parish, hosting, amongst other things,
weight watchers,
pilates, table tennis, amateur dramatics and the odd party. The
Hall is not run by the
Parish Council, but by a separate Committee who meet regularly.
The Village Hall is a Registered Charity (No .1109150).

The hall consists of a main
hall, stage, kitchen, and smaller Coronation Room, and is licensed by
Rushcliffe Borough Council for public entertainment for up to 100
people. The main hall
measures around 14m by 9m (46' by 30') and is some 3.75m high
(12'), sufficient for some bouncy castles. The
Coronation Room lies at the rear of the hall behind
the stage and measures 4.5m by 6.5m (14' by 21'). There is an
efficient heating system and disabled access.
